Mr.  

Im going to be honest, Im bummed.  I know I'll get excited eventually and Im even more so today than yesterday, so thats good :)  I know how terrible it must sound and I hate that I feel negative feelings towards having another boy, but my heart was so into having a girl.  I know, I know, God knows best and He gave us another boy for a reason and I am thankful that I can rest in that.  Plus, Caleb said it perfectly yesterday, "we could've heard a lot worse of news than just finding out its a boy".  We have a perfectly healthy growing little boy in there and I do thank God for that :) 
But THREE boys!!? I just cant even imagine all the crazy things Im going to witness!

Owen sure is excited :) He insists on naming him Jonah so yesterday I said "well, we cant name him Jonah so what else should we name him" And he replied "Granddad!" haha.

look at these cute little legs crossed :) we didnt get a picture showing that indeed we are having a boy, but i think you can kind of see in this picture!

Baby flutters

Hooray!! I felt Baby's first flutters Saturday night! C and I were laying on the couch watching tv and I felt him/her!!! I've felt the flutters a couple times since! I love this part of being pregnant :)

Sad note: this is only the 2nd "photo shoot" we've taken this time around..
I do have intentions of finishing Jonah's baby book before this one comes along though! :)

today has been such a blah day.  we all 4 woke up cranky and its been lingering in the house all day long! owen and i made no bake cookies.  when he was telling caleb what kind we were making he said "we're making no make cookies daddy!!" :)

yesterday little jonah didnt wake up for the day until 12:30!!! then he fell asleep in the car at around 3:30 and we had to wake him up at 6:30!! he was definitely asleep more than he was awake yesterday!

the boys had a babysitter lastnight while cale and i went over to some friends house and played games.  lots of fun and so needed!

update

 had my ultrasound apt this morning...at 7:30!! It was weird driving while it was still dark out!  Caleb was able to stay at home with the kiddos so I was thankful I didnt have to drag them with me.  Baby is measuring right along with the due date I calculated--September 21st.  Ultrasound tech said it was way to early to tell the gender (even though Ive read several places ppl have found out as early as 12 weeks!) I guess we will be waiting a few more weeks!  Yes, we decided to find out.  Mostly because I need to prepare myself if it is another boy :) Will post pics soon.

We went to Indiana this weekend to celebrate Em's bday.  Owen had a blast!! He keeps saying to me "I wish we could go back to Emma's house", "I sure miss Emma and Allie", "I hope we can go back to Emma's house someday" Yep, time to move home :)

Dear Baby P,
I heard your heartbeat for the first time ever today.  What a beautiful sound.  I get to take a peek at you sometime next week! My midwife wants to see how big you are to determine a due date (even though Im 99.9% certain when you were made) I didnt complain or argue, because 1. Im excited to look at your cute little body and 2. they may be able to get an idea if you're boy or girl!
I saw a new midwife today.  Mary was out of the office but I met Sarah, and she was great. 
I LOST a pound since my last apt. (a month ago) and was sightly relieved.  I thought for sure the scale was going to say I gained at least 5lbs! And I wouldve blamed it on the McDonalds that Ive been oh so loving (and KFC mashed potatoes that I had again tonight!) Midwife said it wasnt a concern but if Im still losing weight at my next apt. we'll have to evaluate my diet. 
You are still sucking away all my energy! (Ok, not just you..your two big brothers too!) My nausea isnt constant anymore, which I am so grateful for!
Big brother Owen thinks we should name you Jonah.  And when we say we already have a Jonah, he says we should have two Jonahs :)
Time to play some Wii Mario with your Daddy!

12 weeks!

12 weeks down and I just tonight took my first belly picture! (Even though Ive been popping out since 8 weeks!)

We found out we were pregnant at 4 weeks (those Early Result tests really do work!) I just knew I was pregnant.  Headaches and the fatigue already kicked in.  At 6 weeks the nausea was in full swing and it was nothing like I had with either boy.  Feeling sick not just in the morning or evening but all.day.long! Ive been getting little bursts of energy here and there, but they are short lived.  My midwife prescribed me anti nausea meds but said to really only take them if I was having a hard time keeping anything down, and Im not, so I have yet to take them.  I was never this sleepy with either boy but I never had 2 energetic little ones while pregnant either :) I feel like Caleb and I have hardly seen each other lately because I go to bed like an hour after he gets home!
As you can probably guess, we are hoping for a little Miss this time!! Im not sure if its because I want a little girl so bad, that this pregnancy so far has been different than with the boys, or that the Chinese gender predictor said it was a girl, but if feelings say anything, I feel like its a girl.  We'll see! Either in a few weeks or a few more months! (Still tossing around the idea of letting it be a surprise!)
